The easiest bizines to do in Thailand is English language school, start from learning in Thailand, then send them to UK for short term class.

I have been in business here for two years and it was hard to get through the beaurocracy to start up but since then we have gone from strength to strength.

I came here 2.5 years ago with 3 million baht and we now lead the field in Asia and are about to invest 8 million dollars into three new centres. Check us out at http://www.channahthailand.com

ANyone can make a success of a business here if they follow some simple rules

1 You are not on holiday
2 Work harder than you have ever worked
3 Don't do what everyone else does
4 Being a beer drinker does not qualify you to run a bar
5 Be the first, the best or the biggest
6 You are not on holiday
7 Do not entrust your business to a local who you underpay and overwork so that you can go out on the beer with your friends every day. They will rip you off!

And lastly YOU ARE NOT ON HOLIDAY!!!!!

Idon't say you will succeed if you follow these rules but I do say you won't succeed if you don't.

Good luck

I wonder if anyone here can give me some advice, I have asked about this on other forums but was basically told to forget it.

I am desperate to find work in Thailand, so i can move there to be with my beloved lady, I did a TEFL course but then found it impossible to get a teaching job because i have no BA, (the tefl school didnt tell me about that requirement till after they had my money).

I would love to start a small business in Thailand, but thanks to the ex wife, i have no capital for that. So will have to find a job for now, I will do any job that pays enough for me and my lady to live our simple life together, i am a hard worker, I have good customer service skills and some sales experience, but i am willing to do any job (so long as it is legal).

Anyway, I will be grateful for any practical advice.

yours
Pat

You need money to get started and if you are the right age you could try and raise money in the UK first by releasing cash from you pension. A friend of mine did this recently as he was dead set to live in the sun. Its not for everybody but might suit some. Good luck.
If you are between 55 and 62 and you need money for the land of smiles ? Have you considered Pension Release ? Free guide here http://www.cashinpension.net
